The deletion of an Active Directory object is not recorded in the security event log

This article has been archived. It is offered "as is" and will no longer be updated.
After you turn on the audit directory service access policy in Active Directory Users and Computers, when an object is deleted from the Active Directory directory service, the security event log does not record an event ID 565 event message for File Delete Child. The event ID 565 event message records the deletion of Active Directory objects.
