If you use MSP_WEB_ASSIGNMENTS in an SQL statement in Microsoft SQL Analyzer to query against the resource’s timesheet directly, the query may return a value that is less than the value that appears on the resource's timesheet in Microsoft Project Web Access.
This problem occurs because the timesheet may not calculate the Actual Work field hours correctly, and this may affect the Sync to Protected Actual feature in Microsoft Office Project Professional 2003.
This problem was first fixed in a hotfix that is now contained in a service pack. If you installed the latest Project Server 2003 service pack, you do not have to install the hotfix.
