When an ASP.NET Web-aware COM application accesses a computer that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 server and Active Directory, you may receive the following error message:
Handling of this ADS value Type is not yet implemented.
This problem occurs if all the following conditions are true:
An ASP.NET Web-aware COM application uses the LDAP V2 schema to access a computer that is running Windows 2000 Server and Active Directory.
The Active Directory server is configured to use the LDAP V3 schema.
The COM application is not correctly configured for impersonation.
When the COM application accesses the Active Directory server, the application forces the server to load the LDAP V2 schema. Then, when a COM application that uses the LDAP V3 schema accesses the same Active Directory server, an error message occurs.
