When you programmatically accept or decline a meeting request by using Collaboration Data Objects (CDO), the response text does not appear in the body of the message when the organizer opens the meeting response in Microsoft Outlook or in Microsoft Outlook Web Access.
Setting the appt.ResponseText property does not modify the urn:schemas:httpmail:textdescription field in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
To work around this problem, set the appt.TextBody property instead of the appt.ResponseText property in the CDO code to respond to a meeting request.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
