Asset Account Group ID Field not being saved
I have just created an asset in the Asset General Information window. I added an Account Group ID to the card, but after I saved the record the Account Group ID has disappeared.
This field is used to default general ledger accounts into the assets record only. Once you have saved an asset with an Account Group ID specified, the associated accounts will be saved against this asset, but the Account Group ID you selected will not be visible on the card.
On the Cards menu, point to Fixed Assets, and then click Account. Verify that the correct accounts have defaulted to the asset.
