Support for Windows XP has ended

Microsoft ended support for Windows XP on April 8, 2014. This change has affected your software updates and security options. Learn what this means for you and how to stay protected.

SYMPTOMS

  • Slovak Language Interface Pack for Windows XP, English
  • Slovenian Language Interface Pack for Windows XP
For example, when you click Start and then click Help and Support, English text appears, and you cannot access some of the content when you click the links.

Additionally, some Web pages are blocked, and you cannot access some of the content when you perform either of the following actions:
  • You start Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0, click the Help menu, and then click Tip of the Day.
  • You view the Windows XP non-animated tour.
