The taskbar is not visible when a program window is maximized on your Windows XP Service Pack 1-based computer or on your Windows XP Service Pack 2-based computer

On your Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 (SP1)-based computer or on your Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2)-based computer, the taskbar is not visible when a program window is maximized. This problem occurs even though you have selected the Keep the taskbar on top of other windows option in Taskbar and Start Menu Properties.

Hotfix information
