This article describes the command-line parameters that you can use with the Microsoft Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 Multilingual User Interface Pack (MUI) Setup program (Setup.exe). These parameters control how the Setup program functions.
The following command includes all the command-line parameters that you can use with the Tablet PC MUI Pack Setup program:
Setup [/S] [/V"[/qX] [NOTUTORIALS=1]"]
/A Runs Setup in Administrative Installation mode .
/S Hides the Setup initialization dialog box.
/V Passes the next parameter to the Windows Installer program.
Note There are no spaces after the /V parameter.
/qX Runs the Setup program in a quiet mode, where X is one of the following installation methods:
n - No user interface (UI) b - Basic UI r - Reduced UI f - Full UI
NOTUTORIALS=1 Installs the MUI Pack without installing the MUI Pack Tutorial files. The word "NOTUTORIALS" must be in capital letters.
To install the MUI Pack silently without the Tutorial files, type the following:
Setup /S /V"/qn NOTUTORIALS=1"
To install the MUI Pack silently and include the Tutorial files, type the following:
Setup /S /V"/qn"
