Custom forms may not be updated when users connect to a spooler resource on a cluster node that is running Windows 2000 Server

This article has been archived. It is offered "as is" and will no longer be updated.
For a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 version of this article, see 886679.
After you connect to a spooler resource on a cluster node that is running Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, custom forms that specify printing characteristics are not automatically updated. Printing characteristics such as paper size and printer area are affected by this problem. When you connect to the spooler resource by using an administrator account, you do not experience this problem.
This problem occurs if the spooler resource is moved or if the spooler resource fails over to another cluster node.
