Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • A custom DLL does not detect that a Microsoft Office document has been attached to an Outlook 2003 e-mail message. This issue occurs if the custom DLL uses the OnReadPattFromSzFile() function to detect the attachment.
  • When you reply to an e-mail message, and your signature contains a vCard, the insertion point appears at the end of the addresses that are in the To box instead of at the start of the message body as expected.
  • When you try to export a mail folder, Outlook 2003 stops responding. This issue occurs if there are many Multilingual User Interface Packs (MUI) installed on your computer.
