When a component such as Wireless Networking in Microsoft Windows XP runs in the same Svchost.exe process with the Windows Time service (W32Time), you may experience the following symptoms:
  • The component stops or is disabled unexpectedly.
  • The Windows Time service stops unexpectedly.
This problem occurs when the event log is full. If the Windows Time service cannot write an event log entry, the service stops. When the Windows Time service stops unexpectedly, other components that are running in the same Svchost.exe process may be stopped or disabled.
