When you log off from a server that has Terminal Server enabled in Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1), an event that resembles the following may be logged in the System event log:
Event Type: Information Event Source: Application Popup Event Category: None Event ID: 26 Date: 8/12/2005 Time: 7:33:18 PM User: N/A Computer: TSSERVERNAME Description:Application popup: Windows - Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to save all the data for the file \;V:Shared\Username\IE\index.dat. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.
This problem occurs when the My Documents folder is redirected to a remote shared directory.
This problem occurs because the Microsoft Window Redirector closes the network connection to the file server before the Window Redirector closes the handle to the file.

The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
