When you work in the Microsoft Business Solutions Retail Management System (RMS), Headquarters Client, and you try to connect to Headquarters Server to process a Style 401: Request Data Upload worksheet, you may receive the following error message:
Error 3265: Item cannot be found in the collection corresponding to the requested name or ordinal (Unhandled Error)
This error typically occurs when the following conditions are true:
You run Headquarters Server and Headquarter Client.
Not all your RMS computers have the same service pack or hotfix build installed.
You upgrade your computers to a new RMS service pack or hotfix.
You do not install the service pack or hotfix on every computer.
Verify that all computers are upgraded to the same version of RMS. To do this, click Help, and then click About. Verify the program version number on all computers that have the following applications installed:
Store Operations Administrator
Store Operations Manager
Store Operations POS
Note To see the RMS version number in Store Operations POS, press CTRL+SHIFT+F1.
