You may experience one of the following symptoms:
This behavior may occur because of a timing issue that prevents a USB mouse from being detected by Windows XP.
To work around this behavior, unplug the USB mouse from the USB hub, and then plug the mouse into the hub again. If the mouse is still not detected, restart your Windows XP-based computer.
If the USB mouse is still not detected and if you do not require the USB hub to connect other USB devices, plug the USB mouse directly into the computer.
