If the ISA Server computer experiences high network traffic, add the DatabaseQueryTimeout entry to the registry. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
Type DatabaseQueryTimeout, and then press ENTER.
Right-click DatabaseQueryTimeout, click Modify, and then click Decimal.
In the Value Data box, type the number of seconds that you want to wait before a time-out occurs.
Quit Registry Editor.
Note If you do not set a value for the DatabaseQueryTimeout registry entry, ISA Server sets the default value as 15 seconds.
