When you set up the last period to run the Financial Statement w. Period report (7), and then you run the report in the Swiss version of Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision 3.7, you may receive the following error message:
The date is calculated by Navision when using compare type last period.
This problem occurs because the system cannot run the Financial Statement w. Period report (7) when the last period is active.
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Business Solutions - Navision 4.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.

To apply this hotfix, you must have a valid license for the Swiss versions of Solutions Developer and of Basic General Ledger. We recommend that the user account in the Windows Logins dialog box or in the Database Logins dialog box be assigned the "SUPER" role ID. If the user account cannot be assigned the "SUPER" role ID, you must verify that the user account has the following permissions:
The Modify permission for the Report Object ID 7 object
The Execute permission for the System Object ID 5210 object and for the System Object ID 9015 object
You do not have to have rights to the data stores unless you have to perform data repair.
To apply this hotfix, change the code in the Financial Statement w. Period report (7) code unit as follows:
Add the CallPeriods function to each onPush trigger.
Change the following code from the Existing code to the Replacement code.

To apply this hotfix, you must have the Swiss version of Microsoft Navision 3.7 installed.
You cannot remove this hotfix.
After you have applied the hotfix and you have performed any required data repair, you must exit the Microsoft Navision client. Users must then restart the Microsoft Navision client. You do not have to restart the computer.
