When you show your presentation on multiple monitors in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2003, you cannot see the presenter tools in presenter view. Typically, the presenter tools are represented as icons and buttons in presenter view.
This behavior may occur if Apreso for PowerPoint is installed on the computer.
To work around this behavior, remove Apreso for PowerPoint. To remove Apreso for PowerPoint, follow these steps:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs.
In the Currently installed programs list, click Apreso for PowerPoint.
If you use PowerPoint 2003 with Microsoft Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later service packs or with Microsoft Windows XP, you can run your presentation on one monitor and let the audience view the presentation on another monitor. When you show your presentation on multiple monitors, you can run other programs during the presentation that the audience cannot see. Additionally, you can turn on presenter view. Presenter view includes tools that make it easier to present.
To turn on presenter view, follow these steps:
On the Slide Show menu, click Set Up Show.
Click to select the Show Presenter View check box, and then click OK.
Note You must configure the computer for multiple monitor support before you can turn on presenter view.
For more information about how to run a presentation on two monitors and to use presenter view, click Microsoft Office PowerPoint Help on the Help menu, type presenter view in the Search for box in the Assistance pane, and then click Start searching to view the topic.
