FIX: The performance of a singleton orchestration that contains a Call Orchestration shape may decrease over time in BizTalk Server 2004

This article has been archived. It is offered "as is" and will no longer be updated.
In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2004, the performance of a singleton orchestration may decrease over time, as this performance is measured by the Document Processed Per Second performance counter. This problem may occur if the following conditions are true:
  • The singleton orchestration calls another orchestration inside a loop by using the Call Orchestration shape.
  • The singleton orchestration passes a message parameter to the called orchestration.
  • The called orchestration is non-transactional.
