Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Business Solutions - Axapta 3.0. You post an invoice for a purchase order that contains an item at a different price than the expected physical cost amount. You then recalculate for the item in the purchase order. In this scenario, if you post an invoice for the sales order and then you cancel the recalculation, the Posted Physical Value column of the Physical Inventory By Item Group report may contain incorrect values.
This problem occurs when the Include physical value option is enabled on the Setup tab of the Inventory model groups dialog box. When this option is enabled, the following symptoms may also occur:
The Physical Inventory By Item Group report handles a canceled recalculation incorrectly.
The Physical Inventory By Item Group report handles a closing incorrectly.
The Physical Inventory By Item Group includes the physical cost adjustments even if the inventory transactions are not included.
