An e-mail message is incorrectly associated with a marketing campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 when you send an e-mail message in Outlook

Symptoms
When you send an e-mail message in Microsoft Office Outlook, the e-mail message is incorrectly associated with a marketing campaign in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. Additionally, the e-mail message is tracked in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0.This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You create a marketing campaign that is associated with a marketing list.
  • You use the E-mail via Mail Merge feature to distribute a campaign activity to the members in the marketing list.
Resolution
