The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
When you try to initialize the Common Data Format (CDF) database in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
An error occurred while importing customizations to the CDF database. The CDF database could not be extended with the following attribute: SystemUser.Field_Name. The p_dm_ExtendSchema stored procedure has returned error code 20.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
