In Microsoft Office Outlook 2007, Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) do not support the new Group Policy object security architecture in Outlook 2007. Therefore, you will not find any settings for CDO in the Outlk12.adm Group Policy template file.
The following security settings exist in earlier versions of Microsoft Outlook. These settings are located on the Outlook Security Form under Programmatic Settings. These settings were removed from the Outlook 2007 Security Group Policy object:

Therefore, this version of CDO does not generate guard security prompts for the Outlook object model when you use CDO to programmatically access recipient information or send e-mail messages. Because of this behavior, the new Group Policy support for security settings in Outlook 2007 does not apply to CDO.
