If you use the Include Parentheses formatting property for a financial statement, negative numbers are formatted as having a minus sign instead of as having parentheses in a financial statement report in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0.
For example, if you use the Include Parentheses formatting property, you expect the value of negative 100 to appear in a financial statement report as (100). Instead, this amount appears in the report as -100.
This problem occurs because the Include Parentheses formatting property on the derived extended data type is ignored.
