When you save a file in Microsoft Expression Web on a Windows Vista-based computer that has file name extensions hidden, the file is always saved with an .htm file name extension.
To work around this issue, follow these steps:
- In Windows Explorer, click Organize, and then click Folder and Search Options.
- In the Folder Options dialog box, click the View tab, click to clear the Hide extensions for known file types check box, and then click OK.
