Antigen 9.0 signatures are not updated when you try to update signatures by using Antigen Enterprise Manager

When you try to update Microsoft Antigen 9.0 signatures by using Microsoft Antigen Enterprise Manager, the Antigen 9.0 signatures are not updated. When this problem occurs, the Antigen Enterprise Manager report does not list all the correct update servers. Additionally, the update is scheduled to occur again later.
This problem occurs because the Antigen Enterprise Manager report is created less frequently than the signatures are updated. The Antigen Enterprise Manager report is created one time every 12 hours. Antigen 9.0 signatures are updated every hour. If the Antigen Enterprise Manager report does not list the correct update servers for the current signature versions, the update process is not completed.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem.
