When you add a new package with the SoftGrid Management Console, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to create '{package_name}'.The Package GUID is already in use by package '{package_name}'. Please specify a different Softricity fileError code: 0000BD34
Additionally, the SoftGrid Management Console log file, that is named the Sftmmc.log file, reports the following:
ManagementConsole.MCException: The package ({package_guid}) already exists. ---> SoftGrid.Management.
This behavior can occur when the .SFT file that is being specified for the package version is already specified for another package version.When you add a new package, and then specify a .SFT file that is already specified for another package, an error code is displayed.
To work around this behavior, verify that the appropriate .SFT file is being specified.
