When you exit a SoftGrid-enabled application from a Citrix seamless session in Microsoft SoftGrid Client, it takes 30 seconds for the session to end.
This behavior occurs by default. The SoftGrid Client Desktop Configuration Controller (Sftdcc.exe) waits 30 seconds to close after a SoftGrid-enabled application exits. Therefore, the session is temporarily held open.
Sftdcc.exe does this to improve the start time of later starts of SoftGrid-enabled applications. If Sftdcc.exe is running, and if a SoftGrid-enabled application is started, the application attaches to Sftdcc.exe to improve start time.
Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
