Retirement notice for Sybari Antigen for Exchange 8.0 and Sybari Antigen for SMTP Gateways 8.0

Sybari Antigen for Exchange 8.0 and Sybari Antigen for SMTP Gateways 8.0 are being discontinued on December 31, 2008. Until that time, Sybari Antigen for Exchange 8.0 SR3 (build 1517) will remain a supported platform. However, we recommend that customers use Microsoft Antigen 9.0.

Sybari Antigen for SharePoint 8.0 (SR3) (build 1535) and Sybari Antigen for Instant Messaging 8.0 Service Release (SR3) (Build 1542) remain supported platforms. Retirement plans for these products have not yet been announced.

Upgrade paths

Use one of the following upgrade paths, as appropriate for your situation. For Sybari Antigen for Exchange 8.0 and Sybari Antigen for SMTP 8.0, follow these steps:
  • Perform a new installation of Microsoft Antigen 9.0 or of Forefront Security for Exchange Server (for Exchange 2007).
  • Upgrade Sybari Antigen 8.0 SR3 (build 1517) to Microsoft Antigen 9.0.

Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Sybari Antigen 8.0 for Instant Messaging

Sybari Antigen for Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 8.0 Service Release 3 (SR3) (Build 1535) and Sybari Antigen for Microsoft Instant Messaging 8.0 Service Release (SR3) (Build 1542) are still supported.
