SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 with Service Pack 2 (SP2), the Delete Aged Discovery Data site maintenance task takes only seconds to remove each system object. However, this task may take more than one minute to remove each user object.

You experience this problem if the Active Directory User Discovery method is enabled in the SMS site.
RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
