The following event is logged in the Application log on a server that is running Microsoft Antigen 9.0 for Exchange:

Event ID : 100
Category : Unknown
Source : StatisticsManagerServer
Type : Warning
Description: The description for Event ID (100) in Source ( StatisticsManagerServer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: Fri Jan 05 09:37:04 2007 WARN Error hr=0x80040154 Class not registered

This event is logged if the following conditions are true:
  • Antigen 9.0 for Exchange tries to create an instance of the Deployment Agent object.
  • There is no Deployment Agent on the server that is running Antigen 9.0 for Exchange.
In this situation, if you do not use the Antigen Enterprise Manager (AEM) in your environment, the Deployment Agent object cannot be automatically installed on the server. However, the code may enter the same code path whether the AEM Deployment Agent is installed or not. This behavior causes event ID 100 to be logged.
