On a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, the HelpSvc.exe process uses approximately 95 percent of the CPU resources. Also, the HelpSvc.exe process uses between 70 megabytes (MB) and 130 MB of the memory resources.
This problem may occur if the %WINDIR%\PCHEALTH\HELPCTR\Config\dataspec.xml file contains an outdated Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) query.
To resolve this problem, install Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) or Windows Server 2003 SP2.
