The Collaboration Data Objects file does not include the Western Australia time zone for daylight saving time changesThe version of the Collaboration Data Objects (Cdo.dll) file that is included in Outlook 2003 does not include the Western Australia time zone for daylight saving time (DST) changes. Changes that you make in a Rich Text Format (RTF) e-mail message disappearYou change an RTF e-mail message. If the e-mail message is protected by Information Rights Management (IRM), changes that you make to the e-mail message disappear when you reply to the message or when you forward the message.
The message body disappears in a forwarded e-mail message that contains a Word document attachmentYou open and then close a Microsoft Office Word document that is attached to a RTF e-mail message. A meeting request cannot be updated after the Blackberry desktop service has added properties to the requestWhen you try to send an update to a meeting, the meeting update is not sent. Instead, you receive the following error message:
After this hotfix is installed, you experience the following symptoms instead:
- You receive the following error message: The item could not be saved because it has been modified by another user or in another window.
- The meeting update is not sent.
- Any changes that you make while composing the meeting update are lost.
- Because of this change, you must reopen the meeting, add your changes again, and then resend the meeting update.
Note You should understand the following items related to this hotfix:
- This hotfix does not eliminate the error or allow for the immediate sending of the meeting update.
- If something has modified the underlying meeting on your calendar while you have the meeting update form open, you will receive the error when you click Send Update.
- There is currently no way to prevent these errors if something modifies the meeting on your calendar while the meeting update form is open.
- The best way to reduce or eliminate the error is to wait several minutes after you send out a meeting request before you open the meeting to send an update for that meeting. This lets the software that is modifying the meeting properties complete its task before you open the meeting to send the update.
