You cannot remove the Manage command from the Windows Explorer shortcut menu in Windows XP Embedded

SYMPTOMS
In Microsoft Windows XP Embedded, you cannot remove the Manage command from the Windows Explorer shortcut menu by using the method that is described on the following Web site:Note The Windows Explorer shortcut menu appears when you right-click My Computer.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the SuppressionPolicy registry entry for the Windows XP Embedded runtime is missing.

Note The SuppressionPolicy registry entry is under the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\Manage
RESOLUTION
Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.

To resolve this problem, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type regedit, and then click OK.
  2. Locate the following registry subkey, and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}\shell\Manage
  3. Right-click Manage, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
  4. Type SuppressionPolicy, and then press ENTER.
  5. Right-click SuppressionPolicy, and then click Modify.
  6. In the Value Data box, type 0x4000003c, and then click OK.
  7. On the File menu, click Exit.
  8. Restart the computer.
After you restart the computer, this registry entry is enabled.
