When you use the "Package for CD" tool to burn a PowerPoint 2007 presentation file to a CD, XML data that PowerPoint 2007 saves is lost
You use PowerPoint 2003 to open a presentation file that was created in Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007. In PowerPoint 2003, you use the "Package for CD" tool to burn the presentation file to a CD. However, XML data that PowerPoint 2007 saves is lost. For example, the XML data may include custom layout data and theme color data.
Error message when you use the "Package for CD" tool in PowerPoint 2003 to burn a presentation file that contains a link to an external image: "The files cannot be copied to the folder. Try to free up space on the hard disk, and then try again"
