You are using Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for SQL Server in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 or in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2. When you insert data in a Microsoft SQL Server database by using an XML updategram, the string cannot be inserted in the database successfully. This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
You pass a string that begins with a money sign as a value in the XML updategram. For example, you use a string that begins with a dollar sign ($) or with a pound sign (£).
Non-numeric characters exist after the money sign.
This issue occurs because of a code defect. Microsoft BizTalk Adapter for SQL Server tries to convert the string to a money value.
