After you upgrade a computer to Windows Vista or after you perform a Windows Anytime Upgrade in Windows Vista, some programs that use virtual device drivers no longer work.
This issue occurs because the virtual device drivers do not have corresponding physical hardware. Therefore, some virtual device drivers are not installed during the upgrade.
To work around this issue, reinstall the programs or the virtual device drivers after the upgrade.
