Consider the following scenario. You open an assignment in Microsoft PerformancePoint Add-in for Excel. In a matrix, you change the cell style of a cell. Additionally, a style is applied to the matrix. Then, you click the Refresh button to update the worksheet that contains the cell.
In this scenario, PerformancePoint Add-in for Excel does not preserve the cell style that you applied to the cell.
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Click Start, point to All Programs, point to Microsoft Office, and then click Microsoft Office Excel 2007.
In Excel 2007, click the PerformancePoint tab.
In the Connection group, click Connect to connect to the server that is running Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007.
In the PerformancePoint pane, open the assignment in which you want to apply the cell style to the cell.
Click the cell in the matrix for which you want to apply the cell style.
In the Authoring group, click Matrix Styles.
In the Matrix Styles dialog box, select (None) in the Available Styles list, and then click OK.
After you set the style of the matrix to (None), PerformancePoint Add-in for Excel applies the default cell style to the cell.
Additionally, when you click the Refresh button to update the worksheet that contains the cell, PerformancePoint Add-in for Excel preserves the cell style that you applied to the cell in the matrix.
