A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Hotfix installation instructions
This hotfix must be installed on each computer that hosts a Microsoft Operations Manager 2007 Management Database.
How to apply this hotfix
Copy the SYSTEMCENTEROPERATIONS2007-RTM-KB 941045-x86-x64-JPN.MSI file to a local folder or to a shared network folder.
Run the file locally that you copied in step 1 on each applicable computer that meets the predefined criteria. You can run this file from Windows Explorer or at a command prompt.
Locate the directory where the hotfix was created. Usually, the path of this file is the following path:
\Program Files\System Center Hotfix Utility\KB941045\
Use SQL Server Management Studio to open the OperationsManager database.
Click New Query, click Open File, and then locate the following file under the directory that is mentioned in step 3:
Click SQL Query, and then click Execute Query.
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
