Consider the following scenario. In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2, you create a custom pipeline that uses the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 (BTAHL7) 2.x assembler/disassembler. Additionally, you set the Encoding charset property to the Western European character set or to the UTF-8 character set. Then, you specify a map in a receive port or in a send port. In this scenario, the following Error events are logged in the Application log:
Event Type: Error Event Source: BizTalk Server 2006 Event Category: BizTalk Server 2006 Event ID: 5784
Description: The Messaging Engine failed while executing the inbound map for the message coming from source URL:"$\HL7_Inbound\*.txt" with the Message Type "http://localhost/HealthCare/HL7/2.3#ORU_R01_23_GLO_DEF". Details:"'Unicode (UTF-8)' is not a supported encoding name. Parameter name: name"

Description: A message received by adapter "FILE" on receive location "HL7_RL" with URI "$\HL7_Inbound\*.txt" is suspended. You must have BizTalk Server 2006 R2 and BizTalk Accelerator for HL7 2.0 installed to apply this hotfix.
You must restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
Hotfix replacement information
This hotfix does not replace any other hotfixes.
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
