On a Windows Vista-based computer, when you try to set the tilt value and the pan value for a UVC-compatible camera, the pan value is out of range

On a Windows Vista-based computer, you try to set the tilt value and the pan value for a USB Video Class (UVC)-compatible camera. The tilt value is set correctly. However, the pan value is out of range. Therefore, the UVC-compatible camera cannot scan horizontally across the range of motion.
This problem occurs because of an error in the UVC driver.
