Event ID: 8206 occurs when a MAPI-based application modifies calendar items in Exchange 2003
On a Microsoft Exchange Server 2003-based server, applications that are based on custom MAPI or on Collaboration Data Objects (CDO) are used to modify calendar items. After many such changes, the following events are logged in the Application event log:

Event Type: WarningEvent Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox StoreEvent Category: Views Event ID: 1173Description:Error 0x6bb deleting unused restricted view from folder <folder ID> on database "<storage group>\<store> ". Microsoft Exchange Information Store will try to delete the view again at the next maintenance interval.
This problem occurs because a counter is incremented every time that a recurring meeting is modified. This counter eventually reaches a limit. This limit blocks additional modifications.
Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Restart requirementYou do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix. However, the following services are stopped and then restarted when you apply this hotfix:
- Microsoft Exchange System Attendant
- Exchange Installable File System (ExIFS)
- IIS Admin service and all dependent services
