Microsoft Forefront Client Security (FCS) Enterprise Manager centralizes multiple Forefront Client Security deployments so that you can manage those deployments more easily. The foundation for Enterprise Manager is a standard single-server or dual-server deployment of Forefront Client Security. You must apply the following update on a Forefront Client Security collection server to enable compatibility with Enterprise Manager.
This update is available from Microsoft Update or from Windows Server Update Services.
This update includes changes to the Forefront Client Security Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) 2005 management pack. These changes are required for the single FCS server that is used as Enterprise Manager. For any other FCS installations, these changes are optional.
No prerequisites are required.
You do not have to restart the computer after you apply this update.
