FIX: You may experience problems if a BizTalk application has a map configured on a send port in BizTalk Server 2006

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you may experience the following problems if a BizTalk application has a map configured on a send port:
  • BizTalk Server 2006 may take a long time to deploy the BizTalk application when you import a Microsoft Windows Installer package.
  • The BizTalk Administration console may take a long time to respond when you click the map in the Map list for the first time.

    Note You see the Map list after you click Outbound Maps in the Send Port Properties dialog box.

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
