FIX: The CPU usage remains high for a long time on a computer that is running SQL Server and BizTalk Server 2006

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you may encounter the following symptoms:
  • The CPU usage remains high for a long time on a computer that is running Microsoft SQL Server. During this time, the bts_FindSubscription stored procedure executes many logical reads.
  • The PurgeSubscriptionsJob_BizTalkMsgBoxDb SQL Server Agent job takes longer than usual to run.
This problem occurs because some query plans that the SQL Server query optimizer chooses are incorrect.
