When you set the spelling checker in the Norwegian version of Microsoft Works 8 to Norwegian (bokmal), the spelling checker stops working in Windows Vista. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
The spelling checker cannot be started because of an error in the word processing application.
This problem occurs if Norwegian (bokmal) is the default language that is set in Windows Vista and if you manually set the language for the spelling checker to Norwegian (bokmal).
Warning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
