Consider the following scenario. You perform a load test in Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team System Test Load Agent. You use multiple load agents in the load test. You run the load test. In this scenario, you may receive a System.OutOfMemoryException exception.
This problem occurs because the size of the thread pool is not calculated correctly when you use multiple load agents. Therefore, the high memory limit of the virtual memory may be reached quickly.
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Visual Studio 2008 Team Suite service pack that contains this hotfix.

You must have Visual Studio 2008 Team System Test Load Agent installed on the computer.
You must restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
The English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.
How to apply this hotfix
Before you apply this hotfix, follow these steps:
Locate the following folder:
%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0 Team Test Load Agent\LoadTest\
Rename the original Microsoft.visualstudio.qualitytools.loadtest.dll file or move the original Microsoft.visualstudio.qualitytools.loadtest.dll file to another folder.
Apply the hotfix.
Note If you want to uninstall this hotfix, use the original Microsoft.visualstudio.qualitytools.loadtest.dll file to replace the Microsoft.visualstudio.qualitytools.loadtest.dll file that is updated by this hotfix.
