Error event after you upgrade Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0: "Microsoft.Crm.Tools.FaxConnectorService.FaxSinkServiceException"

Symptoms
After you upgrade Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0, the following Error event is logged in the Application log:

Cause
This problem occurs because the upgrade process does not remove the Microsoft CRM-Fax Router Service.
Resolution
To resolve this problem, disable the Microsoft CRM-Fax Router Service. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
  2. In the Services dialog box, click Microsoft CRM-Fax Router Service, and then click Properties.
  3. In the Startup type list, click Disabled.
  4. Click Stop.

The Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Fax Connector for Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003 (Windows SBS) is not included in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0.
