Registry informationWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
After you apply the hotfix, the LogUnknownConnector registry entry is available. This registry entry can control the frequency at which the warning messages are logged. The LogUnknownConnector registry entry is available under the following registry subkey:
By default, the value of the LogUnknownConnector registry entry is 0. When this registry entry is set to 0, a warning message is logged in the ProgramLog.txt file for the first message only. When this registry entry is set to 1, the warning message is logged for every message. This behavior resembles the behavior that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section.
