Error message when you create a workflow that uses custom persistence services and the transaction service by using the .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1: "Cannot request revert of instance state without calling checkpoint first"
You create a workflow that uses custom persistence services and the transaction service by using the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1). When you execute the workflow, the process stops. Additionally, you receive an exception and the following error message:
Cannot request revert of instance state without calling checkpoint first
This problem occurs because the Unload method in the workflow leads to an inconsistent state during a transaction scope rollback.
