This article describes an issue that is fixed in the Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 Presence Controls update that is dated February 2008.
The issue that the update fixes
The samples for ActiveX Persona Controls display incorrect information in the tooltip when the user hovers over a Persona control or over one of the entries in the PersonaList control. Additionally, the presence icon that is rendered in both controls is enclosed in a light-colored "band" when it is displayed.
The sample code that reads the information to display in the tooltip does not use the correct Automation interfaces from Communicator 2007 to obtain the data. The presence icon is incorrectly displayed because the incorrect color was used for the transparent color when the presence icon was rendered.
